Our customized gateway appliances differentiate us from other VoIP providers

They’re more than just firewalls and provide more than just a Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) value defined in the network

Quality of Service (QoS) is the overall performance of a telephony or computer network. Conventional Internet routers and LAN switches operate on a best effort basis.

With our appliances the priority of VoIP is dynamically increased over other traffic by marking each packet and then using queues to assign a priority to the marked packets. Our professionally customized gateway appliances guarantee that packet traffic for voice will get priority over other lower priority traffic.

Note: These appliances are required by our Service Level Agreement (SLA). If you decide to exclude our appliance a signed waiver is required.

In addition to packet prioritization, we monitor your network 24/7/365 for latency and packet loss of your external network. Threshold alerts immediately make our engineers aware of external network issues before they become a noticeable audio issue to you.
