Hi, I have some SPA942's in my network which produce echo from time to time, which is experienced as very annoying by the users. The echo only occurs on the SPA942-side and is limited to the caller (so the sound in the microphone is echoed to the speaker in the ear-speaker). The other party does not hear any problems. It seems that calling handsfree solves the problem. Anyone any idea what this could be?

 

Hi, I finally found the solution to my problem: I isolated one phone with problems to a seperate LAN and the problems went away. So it seems this had to do with a (too) busy network. This puts me somewhat in a difficult spot since I don't have enough networkoutlets in the building, but hopefully the internal switches of the SPA942's support VLAN-ing and hopefully this will provide a good solution as well.
